Forum Thread: Upgrade Samsung from 4.0.4

I have a samsung s3 using version 4.0.4
I do not have an option to upgrade (or cant find it!)
I have checked in the settings - about device, but nothing apparent.
Is there a manual way to update to a more up to date version?

go to samsung website and download Kies
install it and connect your samsung to the computer
it will allow you to update to new 4.1
i just did it today
