Did you know you can actually have more apps open on your phone at once (considering you're an Android user)? It doesn't even require a high-end Android version or a specific device manufacturer, nothing like that. I've been using it for almost a month now and I love it.
I've achieved so via an app called Floating Apps. It's an official app, that allows for multiple apps' windows to sit on your screen. In the example below, I'm reading an article on Wiki, doing a quick calculation and memorizing the chart by redrawing it.
Surely, there's more into it than just calculator and drawing. The possibilities are called gadgets and here's the full list of them available within the app with the bold ones being the Top 10:
- Bookmarks
- Browser (web)
- Calculator
- Clock
- Compass
- Contacts
- Countdown
- Dialer
- File browser
- Flashlight
- 2048 (the game)
- Colors (another game)
- Google Maps
- Google search
- Google Translate
- Google+
- Image viewer
- Launcher
- Music Player
- Notes
- Paint
- PDF viewer
- Stopwatch
- System info
- Video player
- Wifi manager
- Wikipedia search
- Youtube
... so there's a lot to it. If you'd like to try it yourself, go ahead and download Floating Apps through Google Play or at their website. Then, you can follow this easy how-to to set it up.
