We're always looking for ways to make life easier. Often, that involves a trick to save small amounts of time throughout the day, like switching Google Accounts with a swipe. Other times, it's just a slightly easier way to do something. The method we're sharing below falls in the latter category and involves installing apps.

The usual method to install apps from the Play Store is to select the app from the search results to open its main page and tap the "Install" button near the top. This method is faster.

When you search for an app (or see it on the home page of the Play Store), just long-press it. A small prompt will appear along the bottom of the screen, which includes the name of the app and a single button, "Install." Tap this and you're done.

Fun fact, you can also use this method to quickly open an app you already have installed. Let say an app you use just got an update. If you use this trick to jump straight to the "My Apps" section of the Play Store and hit the "Update All" button, you can then long-press the app to bring up a handy "Open" button.
