The HTC U isn't set to be revealed until mid-to-late-April, but that isn't stopping the leaks from creating hype. Weibo user Ann Bunny just leaked a spec sheet for the new HTC phone, which can be seen below. Keep in mind, though, all details are still just rumors at this point, but they're certainly juicy.
As we reported earlier, it looks like the HTC U will be running Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, the same chip found in the new Samsung Galaxy S8. The display, like many current smartphones, is a crisp 2560 x 1440. All of this information comes from an AnTuTu Benchmark test performed by the user, which certainly looks to be credible.
Additional features appear to include 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. The leak does not specify what kind of expandable storage options the HTC U will or will not include.
The rear camera appears to be 16 megapixels, and the front camera looks to be 12 megapixels. While impressive on paper, megapixels aren't everything, so it will be interesting to see what other camera specs come out over the next month until the HTC U reveal.
