Google announced today that it's offering rewards to Android Pay users, and taking advantage of these deals could land you a free 2nd Generation Chromecast, among other prizes. The Tap 10 promotion is pretty self-explanatory: Tap to use Android Pay 10 times before February 29, 2016, and Google will give you a code to redeem a free Chromecast, free music, or both.
You'll also be rewarded for Taps 1 through 9 as well. You'll receive a code for one music track from the Google Play Store for every Android Pay purchase you make before February 29th. Unfortunately, only certain tracks are eligible, and it looks like the cut-off is 10 minutes. So, you probably can't use it for Led Zeppelin's "Achilles Last Stand" or Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick." Then again, it might just differ depending on the track. This 13-minute version of "Free Bird" appears eligible.
If you have trouble making up your mind or like to procrastinate, the promo codes for both the Chromecast and music tracks don't expire until March 31st, or while supplies last in the case of the Chromecast.
You can find a list of participating retailers here, which include McDonald's, Macy's, and Walgreen's, among many others.
Make sure to space out your Taps, as they only count if they're five minutes or more apart. The offer's only available to residents of the 50 United States and D.C. (sorry, Puerto Rico and other territories). There are also a couple other rules that might apply to you depending on which state you live in. Read the full details here.
